〔體育中心／綜合報導〕根據知名記者摩洛西（Jon Morosi）在推特上透露，休士頓太空人隊持續對紅襪奪冠功臣艾歐瓦迪（Nathan Eovaldi）有興趣。

不過太空人並不在先前傳出有意爭取艾歐瓦迪的9支隊伍行列之中。艾歐瓦迪是在去年七月被光芒交易到紅襪，去年在季後賽大顯神威22.1局中自責分率僅1.61，幫助球隊一路高歌挺進最後勇奪冠軍盃。
艾歐瓦迪過去也曾表達他想留在紅襪隊的意圖。「我很喜歡在紅襪的時光，」艾歐瓦迪先前說道。「當我被交易過去時，他們讓我感到賓至如歸。」 。
艾歐瓦迪說他沒有考慮過太多有關成為自由球員的事，只說他信任他的經紀人會幫助他謀得最大利益。
