〔體育中心／綜合報導〕馬林魚今日在客場以8：13不敵洛磯，系列賽遭到橫掃，比賽中甚至還發生馬林魚外野手布林森（Lewis Brinson）遭到歧視的情形，目前洛磯也對此事展開調查。
今日馬林魚外野手布林森在9局上場打擊時遭到歧視，從轉播收音可以清楚聽到場邊有球迷數次大喊N開頭字眼，雖然馬林魚球團發言表示布林森和隊友們並沒有留意到喊叫聲，但洛磯這邊也開始展開調查，並強烈譴責這位球迷。
洛磯表示對於該位球迷歧視布林森的行為相當反感，並感到厭惡，雖然在比賽結束前並未找出這位球迷，但洛磯也正在繼續調查此事，他們在聲明中強調「洛磯對魚任何形式的種族主義或歧視零容忍，任何使用任何貶低語言的球迷都將被驅逐並禁止進入庫爾斯球場。」
賽後馬林魚的轉播員塞維里諾（Paul Severino）也相當氣憤，表示相當反感，認為種族仇恨不應該存在在這個世界上，然而它卻依然普遍。
